Vancouver – The Gateway To The North

Vancouver is a city in British Columbia, Canada, located on the Pacific Coast. It is the second largest city in Canada and the most populous city in the province of British Columbia. The city is located at the mouth of Burrard Inlet, on the north shore of the Gulf of Georgia.

The city is also known as the “Sunshine City”, “the City of Gardens” and “the Gateway to the North”. The city has a population of over 1 million people. The city’s economy is primarily based on tourism and trade, and it is one of the world’s leading international financial centres.

Vancouver is known for its mild climate, which is the result of its location in the rain shadow of the Rocky Mountains. There are also many ski resorts in the area, including Whistler Blackcomb, Cypress Mountain, Mount Washington Alpine Resort, and Panorama Mountain Village.
